And now .....

Thank you all for your comments on my last post. My apologies for not updating sooner. Its been busy around here, to say the least.

Against all the odds, the 2 lads pulled through and are now back in hospital in this country. Thankfully, the prognosis, for both of them, is good. There is a palpable sense of relief for everyone affected by the accident.

Incidents like this, and we've had more than our fair share since Christmas, bring home to me the utter futility of planning ahead, of wasting today because tomorrow will surely be so much better.

Now is the only time we can be sure of ...

I find it quite difficult to live every moment in the present.

But I'm getting better at it.

I think.

Any spare angels hanging around looking for a project?

Good news. Sort of. Hope the recovery continues apace.

I'm so very happy to hear that the young lads and their families will all be fine eventually.

And you are so very right that now is all we have for sure. It's sad that most of us waste much of our lives in anticipation of a future which for some never arrives.

If your spare angel has a friend, could you please send her to me?

All I can do is add my hopes and wishes to the end of the list.

I'm very glad to hear those boys recovered so much better than expected. What a relief.

Thag's an update I'm glad to hear!

It's a balance - you have to planb ahead some or you won't be able to live with more time should you get it. On othe other hand, if you only plan ahead and ignore the day you have, you're wasting your life. I have a hard time figuring how to walk that tightrope.

Good news for those affected.
As you say, take, & use, & live, each day.
