One of Nature's Monuments

Having heard that the photo I endeavoured to put on the last post is appearing as a most unattractive empty box I am now running this one on test.

I would appreciate several rounds of applause and some wild, spontaneous acclaim and maybe a comment if I am successful in my endeavours.

Some booing and derision will also be humbly accepted.

Still empty from where I'm sitting, Rise. Looks like the internet thinks the picture file is still located on your hard drive rather than loaded up into blog-pictures ie in cyberspace.

But that's as technical as I get...

Yup. Shining blank rectangle from here too! It's starting to look like my expertise [ahem] did not rub off on you at all, at all.

Yep, I concur with Stomper.

The URL for the picture (which I can see when I wave my mouse over the empty box) indicates that it thinks it's sitting on the C drive of your computer.

As a result, when you're looking at the page yourself, you're probably able to see the photo and things look fine. However, since the rest of us don't have access the C drive of your computer, we can't see the photo.

It should be pretty straightforward to fix. I suspect Molly will help, which will be faster and better because of the two of you can discuss it via email. If you're still not getting anywhere after that, though, feel free to contact me.

there's a lovely blue box with a question mark in it from where I'm sitting...

A tree, and what a tree. This is similar to the photo of the tree I had on my wall during the offsprings' teenage years. It was just how I felt. But what a lovely image.

I see a tree and I think you're marvelous.

I was just clowning around. You have first hand experience of my photo-uploading ineptitude, so must know I'm laughing with you,not at you! What? You're not laughing? Why ever not? The alternative is to tear your hair out and we don't want that.

It has taken me forever to figure the blasted process out myself, and then only with massive help from the Bean's computer-nerd friend. And still no guarantees I'll remember tomorrow how I did it today. My brain classifies anything connected with electronics/technology as techno-babble, and usually erases it before it has any chance to take hold.

The good news is that I now see pictures on your last three posts!! Great choice for the posers post!

Is it a relative of the Banyan tree? It's absolutely lovely, a beautiful picture.
